    • License plate numbers
  • Get eyewitness information. If there were eyewitnesses to the accident, be sure to get their contact information as well.
  • Take photos and gather evidence. It is important to gather evidence at the accident scene. Be sure to take photographs of the accident, property damage, vehicle positions, and any other visual evidence that might be relevant to your case.
  • Contact your insurance company. It is important to contact your insurance company and report the accident. In many cases, your insurance policy may require you to call them after an accident.
