Tariq H. Chaudhri has been a member of the litigation team at Rosner Law Offices, P.C. since 2010. A longtime resident of Cumberland County, he graduated from Vineland High School, receiving highest honors. Tariq then graduated with honors from The College of New Jersey, during which time he interned at the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. He earned his law degree from The University of Florida’s Levin College of Law. While in law school, Tariq spent a significant amount of time providing pro bono legal services to low-income individuals, which furthered his commitment to helping others.
As a litigator, Tariq’s practice is heavily concentrated on representing individuals who were injured in the workplace. He regularly appears in Workers’ Compensation Court throughout the State of New Jersey. Additionally, he helps manage the firm’s pre-litigation department, but also continues to try cases before juries in Superior Court. To that end, he has secured multiple six-figure jury verdicts on behalf of his clients.
A Leader in the Legal Profession
Throughout his career, Tariq has held, and continues to hold, several leadership positions. Notably, on June 15, 2022, Tariq had the honor of being installed as President of the Cumberland County Bar Association, becoming the first person of a minority background to do so.
Tariq is also a member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ), where he served for several years on the Board of Governors. He currently serves as a Co-Chair of NJAJ’s Minority Trial Lawyers’ Caucus and as a member of NJAJ’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. He also serves as Southern Trustee on the Board of the New Jersey Muslim Lawyers Association. Additionally, he is a lifetime member of both the New Jersey Chapter of the South Asian Bar Association and the Asian & Pacific-American Lawyers Association of New Jersey. He also holds membership in the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. Through Tariq’s involvement with various organizations, he continues to dedicate a significant amount of his time to several volunteer, charity and pro bono activities.
Aside from his active litigation practice, Tariq regularly teaches at seminars to fellow attorneys. These are referred to as “Continuing Legal Education” or “CLE” seminars. In addition to presenting or co-presenting at numerous CLE seminars, Tariq has also helped to plan and organize several CLE for the New Jersey Association for Justice and as a member of the CLE Committee for the Cumberland County Bar Association. As part of his mentoring efforts of potential future attorneys, he has also served as Attorney Coach of his high school’s Mock Trial Team.
